North Fork Crow River Watershed Collaborative
Comprehensive Watershed Management Plan Renewal
The North Fork Crow River Watershed Collaborative is beginning the renewal of its Comprehensive Watershed Management Plan through Minnesota's One Watershed, One Plan (1W1P) program.
This process brings local governments, landowners, organizations, and residents together to identify priorities and develop strategies to protect and improve the watershed's natural resources.
About the Watershed
The North Fork Crow River Watershed spans more than 945,000 acres and includes agricultural lands, communities, lakes, streams, wetlands, forests, and groundwater resources.
Current watershed priorities include:

Protecting and improving water quality

Managing stormwater and runoff

Addressing impaired waters

Conserving high-value natural areas

Protecting lakes, streams, and groundwater

Coordinating local conservation and resource management efforts
Through this plan renewal effort, participating local governments will work together to establish goals, priorities, and actions that address the watershed's most important natural resource concerns.

Share Your Input
Community
Community input is essential to developing an effective watershed management plan. Residents, landowners, businesses, organizations, and public agencies are encouraged to share natural resource concerns, opportunities, and local priorities that should be considered during the renewal process.
Involvement
Additional opportunities to participate, including meetings, workshops, surveys, or other engagement activities, will be announced throughout the plan renewal process.
